EUROTOX is a Federation of more than 40 European societies of toxicology representing 7,500 European toxicologists. The annual congresses rotate from one European country to another providing diversity to the venues and contents of the congress. The number of participants is approximately 1,500.

EUROTOX2019 will take place in Helsinki, Finland from 8 to 11 September. The congress will offer a change to tackle with the burning chemical safety challenges of the next decade. The theme of the Congress is “Toxicology – Science Providing Solutions”.

• Established in 1979 by 79 toxicologists, today the number exceeds 230.
• A member of EUROTOX and IUTOX (1981) since their establishment.
• Organizes annually it’s business and scientific meeting, and has organized several international meetings, among them The 10th International Congress of Toxicology in 2004 in Tampere.
• National Register of Toxicologists since 1995 belonging to the EUROTOX Toxicology Register
